On The Rock Restaurant

My family has been to The Rock on numerous occasions, usually taking me out when I come back home from college. It is quite easily my parent's favorite restaurant in the area. Very friendly staff and the food I've had there has always been great. Would highly recommend the fish fry. Location is very unique as it sits rights on the Rock River (hence the name of the restaurant.)

Arrived just after they opened, but staff was ready and waiting. Becca took the order and got our drinks. Great! But the treat was after the food started coming. French onion soup that was perfect. The steaks came out all at once. Three cuts, and one was a tenderloin. That sometimes is a problem. All were hot and really perfect. Becca kept us happy, without over doing it. Thanks, and we will be back, with friends.

We loved coming here! The setting on the river was beautiful. The waitstaff we had was friendly, and the dinner we had was served quickly and was delicious. We'd definitely come back again.

What a great place... a hidden gem!The location, right on the Rock River is beautiful! The view from the deck is incredible! We enjoyed the nachos as an appetizer and we followed it up with the pizza! The nachos were loaded with tasty goodness and the pizza was out of this world. The service was friendly and the staff was upbeat, attentive and willing to take time to chat with us... a great laid back experience.Will I go back? Without a doubt!

Finally got around to trying the fish fry here last Friday. Everything was excellent. I had the breaded and fried cod and it was delicious. Also, the servers were friendly and always there when needed. Thank You for a great dining experience!

You should check this place out! The atmosphere is wonderful! My husband had the fish and says it was pretty good. My burger was good as well. Our waitress was fabulous! Friendly, knowledgeable , and all around great customer service! We will be going back again!
